Warframe 1999 is taking the Tenno war to 1999, as a new group of edgy Protoframes work together to take down the ruthless new faction, Scaldra, and track down the renowned Orokin scientist, Albrecht Entrati.

In addition to new story content, weapons, and a romance system, Warframe 1999 will introduce a range of new Warframe skins called Gemini Skins that are quite different from the other skins in the game.

If you’re curious to know more about these new premium skins, you’re in the right place. This ONE Esports guide explains everything you need to know about the Gemini Series skins in Warframe

Simply put, the Gemini Series skins in Warframe are transforming skins with fully-voiced dialogues. They are based on the Protoframes that are part of Arthur’s group in Warframe 1999.

The Gemini skins are customizable, and you can switch back and forth between your regular Warframe skin and the Protoframe. It should allow you to have two vastly different fashion frames at your disposal at all times.

As mentioned above, each Gemini series skin will have fully-voiced dialogues, though, right now, it’s unclear as to what extent. DE have confirmed that these skins will be audible during gameplay, though we wonder if they will be idle-animation catchphrases or something during combat.

Six Gemini skins are coming to Warframe. These are:

  • Arthur / Excalibur
  • Eleanor / Nyx
  • Quincy / Cyte-09
  • Lettie / Trinity
  • Aoi / Mag
  • Amir / Volt

It seems each Gemini skin works only with a certain Warframe. For instance, you can only equip Quincy while using Cyte-09, whereas you can only equip Arthur while using the Excalibur Warframe.

As of this writing, it’s not clear how you can get the Gemini Series skins in Warframe, though we assume they will be purchasable and won’t come cheap.
