The official Honkai Star Rail 2.2 release date has been announced.
Previously, we enjoyed Honkai Star Rail version 2.1, titled “Into the Yawning Chasm,” released on March 27, 2024.
The update continued the Penacony Trailblaze Mission starting with “The Devil in Velvet.” It led us to new areas for us to explore and unlock — Penacony: Clock Studios Theme Park and Dewlight Pavilion.

During the 2.1 update, we dived into Aventurine’s backstory and followed him all the way to his grand performance at the Clock Studios Theme Park.
We saw Sam turn into Firefly, peeled away the layers surrounding Acheron’s identity, and experienced an unresolved interaction between Sunday and Gallagher.
The 2.1 update also celebrated the game’s first anniversary, giving out various rewards comprising Star Rail Special Passes and Stellar Jades. Simulated Universe World 9 was also opened.
On April 26, 2024, one month after the launch of 2.1, we’re now moving into Honkai Star Rail 2.2

Trailblazers face a new challenge in this update: the Dreamflux Reef. This desolate landscape is a stark contrast to the fantastical dreamscapes encountered so far in Penacony.

The vibrant Charmony Festival is likewise upon us, and attendees from across the Cosmos are buzzing with anticipation.
One of the festival’s most exciting events is the Festivity Auditions, sponsored by SoulGlad. This dazzling competition will take place in the festive Moment of Scorchsand, promising a grand spectacle for all. You can team up with your companions and compete for the coveted title of Festive Superstar!
Each successful audition stage brings you one step closer to performing on the magnificent stage of the Penacony Grand Theater. This centerpiece of the Charmony Festival is renowned for its unparalleled grandeur and opulence, and it will be the venue for Robin’s highly anticipated performance.
