Zowie didn’t hold back with their latest products and we can attest to that.

The gaming peripheral company recently partnered with the Sentinels esports organization to hold a private event with some media, professional players, and influencers all focused around their new Zowie U2 wireless mouse and the BenQ ZOWIE XL2568X monitor.

Starting with the mouse, Zowie specifically targeted professional players and their feedback when building it.

They went to extreme lengths to ensure they were building was the right fit, utilizing reesearch, monitoring muscle activity, and motion capture technology.

We had the unique opportunity to step into the lab to see it for ourselves earlier this year. If you’re interested in checking that out, you can find a breakdown here or watch the video below.

During the VIP event in Los Angeles at the Sentinels HQ, the bried hands-on experience we had left us feeling nothing but positive about the mouse. The wireless provided freedom and removed the feel of the cable drag, which only helped to draw attention to just how light the mouse is at only 60g.

The mouse retails for USD$129.99, putting it on par with other mice in the same category when it comes to pricing.

Moving on to the monitor — wow.

BenQ as a brand has long been known as a leader in the monitor space, and they continue to strive to deliver when it comes to the performance professionals and competitive gamers want.

The monitor provides an absolutely ridiculous 540hz refresh rate, the highest available on the market, making your game feel buttery smooth.

It’s worth noting if you’re rocking 60 frames per second (FPS), probably not worth splurging on something like this, however.

In addition to the fast TN panel and the refresh rate it provides, the company also kicked up their DyAc technology to DyAc 2 and added the Auto Game Mode by XL feature.

DyAc 2 further improves the motion clarity of the monitor, while the Auto Game Mode allows you to quickly share your monitor settings with others.

You can find the specifications for the display portion of the monitor below. If you want a full review on the monitor 240hz monitor in the line, we have a much deeper dive to check out right here.

One of the complaints Zowie addressed with their latest offerings was a lack of vivid colors. The Zowie XL2568X’s new TN panel improves color performance by 35% according to Zowie.

In our testing at the event, the monitor delivered on all fronts. The colors were good and the gameplay was smooth, leaving me wishing I could front the USD$1,000 price tag this monitor has attached to it.

Overall, in our limited testing, both products deliver top of the line specs and felt amazing to use.
