More details from Moonton have been released about the upcoming M4 World Championship, the biggest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament held every year.

The group draw, which will sort all qualified teams into different groups for the group stage, will be held on December 8, at 4 p.m. GMT+8, the game developer announced on Facebook.

The mechanics for the group draw are similar to previous M-series tournaments, with minor changes to the pools.

Unlike in the M3 World Championship where there were three pools for the draw, this year will only have two.

Pool 1 consists of MPL PH Season 10 champion Blacklist International, MPL ID Season 10 champion ONIC Esports, MPL SG Season 4 champion RSG SG, and MPL MY Season 10 champion Team HAQ. The remaining 12 teams were placed in Pool 2.

Teams from the same region, including MLSL teams S11 Argentina and Malvinas Gaming, cannot be drawn into the same group. Teams in Pool 1 also cannot be placed in the same group.
