The M4 World Championship is the fourth iteration of the biggest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang event held every year. Starting January 1, 16 teams from 12 regions will battle in Jakarta, Indonesia over the US$800,000 prize pool and the title of world champion.

Teams from MPL regions will need to qualify through their placements in their respective leagues. A separate qualifier will be held for non-MPL regions such as Myanmar and North America.

For the first time in the M-Series, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will not have any representatives this season. Singapore and Brazil will each only have one representative this year, unlike the previous M-series where they had two.

Regions that were absent from last year’s M3 World Championship, such as Myanmar, will be competing this time around.
