Moonton Games’s multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is heavily dominated by male players.

Professional players such as IDNS Ramella and ONIC Esports Viorenita “Vior” Sutanto were the few females who made headlines after participating in the prestigious mobile league, breaking gender stereotypes in esports and gaming.

Regardless of gender, Moonton Games believes Mobile Legends is for everyone. The international gaming developer recently released “Tear It Off,” a music video starring Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna, Alodia Gosiengfiao, Andrea Brillantes, and Renejay Barcarse.

Moonton Games and Mobile Legends Philippines (MPL PH) just dropped a new banger titled “Tear It Off,” starring celebrities Alodia Gosiengfiao and Andrea Brillantes and MPL PH pro players OhMyV33nus and Renejay.

The music video addresses the most common stereotypes among females and gamers of different genders, and coincides with Women’s History Month. It encourages everyone to tear off gaming labels and overturn assumptions about women. For example, its a myth that women only excel in support roles, or that most of them only know how to play the hero Layla.

OhMyV33nus’ lines, in particular, appears to be a response to haters.

“Who says my only hero is Estes,” the verse reads. “And that my heroes are few and limited?”

Estes is Blacklist International’s chosen hero for their M3 World Championship skin.

Tier One Entertainment fans were delighted to see the Blacklist International star player together with co-founder Alodia in the music video.

Andrea Brillantes’ powerful delivery and killer dance moves wowed the ML community as well. Andrea is an avid gamer and has starred in Bagsakan Legends, another Mobile Legends music video featuring Setsuna “AkoSiDogie” Ignacio, Eric Tai “Eruption” Tai, and Edgar “ChooxTv” Dumali.

Singer and Nexplay EVOS’ pro player Renejay also made a brief appearance at the end of the video, spitting rap lines together with Andrea.
