Nexplay EVOS is on a roll in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Season 8 (MPL PH Season 8). John Paul “H2wo” Salonga explains why.

According to Nexplay EVOS’ jungler, it was Renejay “Renejay” Barcase who helped steer the team, and led the squad to their first three game win streak against some of the best teams in the region in MPL PH Season 8.

In a post-match interview after they swept RSG PH 2-0, H2wo expressed how Renejay’s presence was a big factor in their matches.

“When he was put in the starting lineup in Week 2, the team’s momentum changed,” he said.

Since his return in MPL PH Season 8 Week 2, Nexplay EVOS won three matches in a row, taking wins against Smart Omega, RSG PH, and ECHO.

H2wo also mentioned how their shotcalling has changed in Week 2.

“We had communications issues, errors, and it felt like Hesa was the only one playing,” said H2wo. “Renejay is different as he was the main shotcaller for me and the whole squad.”
