The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asian Cup 2022 (MSC 2022) is the biggest MLBB tournament in Southeast Asia.

12 of the best teams in the region will battle it out for the lion’s share of the US$300,000 prize pool and the title of the best Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team in the SEA region.

Despite fielding a young lineup, RSG PH shocked fans at MPL PH Season 9 with a dominant performance in the regular season and the playoffs.

Under the guidance of their veteran coach, Brian “Panda” Lim, they will look to continue their winning ways at MSC 2022 against the juggernauts in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.

After falling short to EVOS SG twice in a row in the grand final of MPL SG Season 1 and MPL SG Season 2, RSG SG finally secured a dub in the grand final of MPL SG Season 3.

Their in-game chemistry, however, will be tested as they compete at MSC 2022 without their top dogs Ming “Sana” Brandon and Bellamy “Lolsie” Yeov.

The crowd favorites in MPL SG, EVOS SG will have another chance at redemption after Cambodia’s Impunity KH eliminated them in the first round of the playoffs at MSC 2021. This year, they are grouped with the same team that eliminated them in Group D.

With the return of Stefan Chong “Soul” Ru Chyi to the lineup and Adam “Adammir” Chong’s meteoric rise as one of the best gold laners in the competitive scene, it’s exciting to see how far this team will go in the tournament.

See You Soon first rose to prominence after winning the inaugural MPL KH Season 1, defeating fan-favorite Impunity KH in the upper bracket semifinal and DG Quantum in the upper bracket final and grand final.

This will be their third time competing internationally, having already played in two international tournaments at ONE Esports MPLI 2021 and the M3 World Championship.

Falcon Esports were champions of the Myanmar Qualifier, securing their slot at MSC 2022. Most of its players came from Ronin Esports, a squad that surprised several teams during the ONE Esports MPL Invitational 2020.

During that tournament, they took down powerhouse teams Execration and EVOS SG in the playoffs, before succumbing to fellow Myanmar team Burmese Ghouls in the quarterfinal.
