The teams qualified for Masters Shanghai are the top contenders in their respective regions. They proved their skills after a successful run in VCT Stage 1, the first split of the 2024 season.

Representing the Pacific, China, Americas, and EMEA, three teams from each region travel to China for the second international LAN event of the year.

Compared to Masters Madrid, Masters Shanghai features an additional four teams, intensifying the competition as all teams compete for Valorant Champions points to secure their spot in the Valorant World Championship at the end of the season.

What is Masters Shanghai?

The Valorant Masters event is the international LAN organized by Riot Games during the VCT season.

Masters events typically occur before VCT regional events, and teams have to earn a spot in the tournament.

Teams that win their respective regional tournaments earn a higher seed at the start of Masters events, while the rest of the teams start their run in the group stage (swiss stage).
