After winning the NACT Fall Season, The Valley is set to represent North America at the M4 World Championship in Indonesia early next year.

The team, spearheaded by former BTK star Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun, will face off against MPL MY Season 10 champion Team HAQ, back-to-back MPL BR champion RRQ Akira, and MLSL Season 1 champion S11 Argentina in Group D of the group stage.

While these teams were the champions of their respective regions, MobaZane is unfazed and confident going into the group stage. In fact, he believes that out of the four teams in Group D, The Valley is the team to beat.

In an interview right after the group draw on December 9, the 21-year-old jungler stated that he does not believe any team in their group will give them a hard time.

“We definitely have an easy ride in the group stage,” he said. “Maybe Team HAQ could give us a challenge because they were the Malaysian champion, but the other two teams I’m not too certain about. They have to prove me wrong.”

The Valley is composed of some of the biggest names in the NA competitive scene, such as former BTK members Ian “FwydChckn” Hohl and Oscar “SHARK” Vo, content creator and pro player Seonghun “Hoon” Jang, and former MPL PH player Peter Bryce “Basic” Lozano.

Its members are also no strangers to competing in the M-series. Both Hoon and Basic competed for North America’s Team Gosu in M1, while MobaZane, SHARK, and FwydChckn finished third at the M3 World Championship, even defeating eventual champion Blacklist International, 3-2, in the first round of the upper bracket.

“I think our group stage will be quite easy for The Valley and we’ll breeze right through it, to be honest,” he said.
