The LCS Spring 2022 Playoffs kick off on April 2, featuring the top six teams from the regular season.

After finishing at the top of the standings, Team Liquid and Cloud9 are the favorites to become Spring Champion and earn a spot at the Mid-Season Invitational 2022.

Joining them in the playoffs are reigning LCS champions 100 Thieves, who will be looking to secure back-to-back LCS trophies.

Meanwhile, upstarts Evil Geniuses secured fourth seed and a spot in the upper bracket after winning a tiebreaker against FlyQuest, who will start in the lower bracket. Golden Guardians round out the playoffs in the lower bracket, qualifying in sixth place with a 9-9 game record.

This is the first playoffs bracket in the history of the LCS that will not feature TSM. The team was eliminated from the 2022 Spring Split playoffs after a loss to 100 Thieves.

Here’s everything you need to know about the playoffs, including the complete schedule, teams, results, and where to watch the matches live.

The LCS Spring 2022 Playoffs will follow a double-elimination format. Teams are seeded into the upper and lower brackets based on their final position in the regular season.

  • Top four teams seeded in the upper bracket
  • Fifth and sixth-placed teams are seeded in the lower bracket

In Round 1 of the upper bracket, the first-placed team will play against the fourth-placed team in Match 1, while the second and third-placed teams play each other in Match 2.

The loser of Match 1 drops to the lower bracket and plays against FlyQuest, while Match 2’s loser will play against Golden Guardians.

All matches will adopt a best-of-five format and culminate in the Mid-Season Showdown at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. It will be the first LCS event since 2020 to host a live audience, and tickets are now available to buy through Ticketmaster.

The winner of the Mid-Season Showdown will be crowned the LCS Spring 2022 champion and represent North America at the Mid-Season Invitational 2022.
