Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk, the carry player for Team Spirit, has added another accolade to his collection in 2021.

He is the latest member of Dota 2’s most exclusive group, the 12,000 MMR club.

Yatoro won The International 10 (TI10) with Team Spirit on October 17. They defeated PSG.LGD 3-2 in the grand final and took home USD$18,208,300 in winnings.

After winning TI10, Yatoro spent his time grinding it out in-game. In the last month, he has played 165 matches with a 57.5% win rate. Not bad for a TI winner.

Yatoro reached 12,000 MMR after an impressive five-game win streak. His last game was on Morphling, his most played hero in competitive matches.

Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon was the first player to hit the same milestone on March 3, 2021, followed by Souliya “JaCkky” Khoomphetsavong on March 28.

Quinn “Quinn” Callahan became the first player from North America and third overall to reach 12,000 MMR on May 11. Cheng “NothingToSay” Jin Xiang joined the club 9 days later, on May 20.

Now that it’s offseason, many pro players are spending their time playing ranked games. Will we see anyone reach 13,000 MMR soon?
