The upcoming Genshin Impact anime series is already generating excitement and buzz within the fan community, even though it has not been officially released. In a series of tweets by the self-proclaimed anime news account oecuf0, it was revealed that the animation quality of the Genshin Impact adaptation is expected to surpass that of Demon Slayer, a popular shonen anime.

They also hinted at the involvement of exceptionally talented staff, possibly indicating that Ufotable, renowned for its top animators, is bringing their best to this project.

Genshin Impact anime will allegedly have better animation than Demon Slayer

Comparisons between Demon Slayer anime and the Genshin anime are inevitable, given that both series are being worked on by the renowned Japanese animation studio Ufotable.

However, neither Ufotable nor the Genshin developers, HoYoverse, have officially confirmed the reports from the alleged anime news account.

The Demon Slayer, or Kimetsu no Yaiba, anime has gained recognition for its exceptional fight scenes, particularly showcased in the final episodes of each season and its record-breaking movie, Mugen Train.

If the reports are accurate, fans of Genshin Impact can expect visually stunning animation for the game’s combat system, featuring the six elemental reactions.

In 2022, HoYoverse and Ufotable announced the Genshin anime series. The concept trailer, lasting nearly four minutes, provided a glimpse of Teyvat’s regions in a distinct art style separate from the game’s graphics. It also featured the franchise’s protagonists: the traveler twins, Aether and Lumine, along with their companion, Paimon.

Ufotable is known for animating other popular titles such as the Fate series, God Eater, and The Garden of Sinners.
