Meet Blacklist International’s new code breaker.

Renejay “Renejay” Barcase joined Blacklist International, and will be part of their Southeast Asian Games campaign, the organization announced yesterday.

This comes shortly after the veteran EXP laner announced his departure from Nexplay EVOS after five seasons with the squad.

“I am excited to embrace a fresh new start in the year 2023 and I am confident that I will continue to excel in my future endeavors,” he wrote.

Renejay will play alongside Blacklist veterans Edward Jay “Edward” Dapadap, Kiel “OHEB” Soriano, Salic “Hadji” Imam, and newcomer Jakob “Rindo” Seguiran in the SIBOL qualifiers, which will determine who will represent the country in the upcoming SEA Games in Cambodia.

The dynamic duo of Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario have also confirmed they’re participating in MPL PH Season 11 next month.

The organization said they would announce the remaining three members in the coming weeks.

Known for his flashy plays on Chou, Renejay was the superstar of Nexplay from Seasons 6 to 8, alongside Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera and John Paul “H2wo” Salonga. In Season 9, he took a back seat after Nexplay acquired the entire roster of amateur team, AP Esports.

The defending champions have yet to officially confirm whether the EXP laner will join their roster for MPL PH Season 11.
