The first major off-season change for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Season 9 (MPL PH Season 9) has been announced.

ECHO has revealed it’s revamped roster for MPL PH Season 9, and it includes big names such as M2 World Championship MVP Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, and the return of Ashleymarco “Killuash” Cruz to the pro scene.

The announcement was made on ECHO’s official Facebook page today, showing the latest roster all dressed in formal attire in a hostage rescue skit.

Aside from KarlTzy and Killuash headlining the super team, former Nexplay EVOS’ Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera and TNC star Frediemar “3MarTzy” Serafico will also be competing in this roster.

ECHO’s performance last MPL PH Season 8

ECHO finished 5th in the regular season of MPL PH Season 8 with a 6-8 match record. In the playoffs, Smart Omega eliminated them in the first round with a 3-0 sweep.

After the season ended, the esports organization released numerous key players in their lineup, including Jay “Jaymeister” Torculas, Samuel “Invoker” Cruz, Kenneth “FlySolo” Coloma, and Joshua “Aspect” Tating.

Longtime coach Steven “Coach Dale” Vitug had also announced his retirement after the season.
