The end of an era.

EVOS Legends announced that veterans Muhammad “Wannn” Ridwan, Ihsan Besari “Luminaire” Kusudana, and Gustian “REKT” have left the squad, the organization announced on YouTube yesterday, August 2.

The three were long-serving members of EVOS and were part of the roster that won the inaugural M1 World Championship in 2019. The announcement comes a few days after the organization revealed its lineup for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Indonesia Season 10 (MPL ID Season 10) which begins on August 12.

In the video, all three recalled their fondest memories with the squad and thanked fans for supporting them throughout their careers. Each of them also gave out reasons why they’re leaving the professional scene.

Wannn said that he left the organization due to health problems. “There are actually many factors that made me decide to stop, one of which is the health of my eyes,” he said.

REKT had the same sentiment and noted that he still suffers from cubital tunnel syndrome, a neurological disorder he contracted in the first half of Season 9.

Luminaire had a different reason for leaving. According to him, he had made a promise to Wannn and REKT.

“If we pull out, we pull out together,” he said. “I’m not leaving my friends behind, a promise is a promise.”

Last month, EVOS Legends announced that EXP laner Maxhill “Antimage” Leonardo and Joshua “LJ” Darmansyah have been removed from the roster, but are still under the organization.

EVOS Legends first made waves in the Indonesian MLBB scene after winning MPL ID Season 4 to secure a slot at the M1 World Championship. They eventually went on to win the championship after taking down fellow ID team, RRQ Hoshi, in the grand final.

They won their second MPL ID championship in Season 7. In Season 8 and 9, EVOS Legends finished in third and fourth place respectively.
