Out of 16 teams in the group stage, eight qualify for the next phase of the M5 World Championship — the Knockout Stage.

The remaining teams compete for the title of the best Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team of the year and a share of the US$900,000 prize pool.

AP Bren, Blacklist International, ONIC Esports, Geek Fam, and See You Soon have secured their spots in the knockout stage.

Additionally, non-MPL teams Fire Flux Esports, Burmese Ghouls, and Deus Vult have proven themselves capable and earned their places alongside the established MPL teams.

The Knockout Stage features a double-elimination format, with all eight qualified teams beginning in the upper bracket.

All matches are best-of-five, except for the grand final, which is a best-of-seven showdown.

The first phase of the playoffs from December 9 to 12 will be held at EVM Convention Center. The venue will change to the Rizal Memorial Coliseum from December 115 to 17.
