Who is the best midlaner in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Season 12 (MPL PH Season 12) right now?

In a recent Moonton Games video titled Greatest in the Lane on YouTube, midlaners from various teams shared their insights on who they think is the strongest in the lane in the current season.

Interestingly, the consensus among these midlaners is that one of the youngest players in the league, who has been competing for just three seasons, stands out as the dominant force .

In the video, most midlaners point to Alston “Sanji” Pabico as Season 12’s standout.

According to Smart Omega veteran Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic, the 17-year-old’s gameplay is unpredictable. “He’s good at utilizing his skills,” he said. “And he has a wide hero pool.”

Christian “GoyongAR” Martinez of Minana EVOS echoes this sentiment, placing his vote firmly in favor of the young midlaner.

“Based on stats, he has been playing really well,” he said. “I think he’s a big part of why ECHO are champions.”

Even Sanji himself said that he thinks he is the number one midlaner right now.

“I feel like I’m the top one and the rest are top two,” he stated. “I feel like they’re all equals, they have a small hero pool, lack courage, and I can play more heroes than them.”

Other players who voted for Sanji are Smart Omega’s CJ “Ribo” Ribo, ECHO PH’s Frince “Super Frince” Ramirez Bren Esports’ Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel, and Blacklist International’s Salic “Hadji” Imam, and Kenneth “Yue” Tadeo.

Sanji’s rise to prominence is no surprise.

Since joining in Season 10, he played a pivotal role in his team’s triumphant campaign at the M4 World Championship.

Furthermore, he was also a key player when ECHO clinched the MPL PH Season 11 title when they defeated defending champions Blacklist International in a resounding 4-0 victory.
