Zerothreetwo (032) midlaner Karl “Karl” Jayme has become the fifth player to join the exclusive 11,000 matchmaking rating (MMR) club.

Karl revealed his feat in a post on his personal Facebook account, less than a month after he breached the 10K MMR mark.

He will be the second Filipino player, joining 11K MMR club founder Abed Azel “Abed” Yusop, and the third from Southeast Asia, alongside Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon, to reach the highest tier of MMR in Dota 2.

The other two members of the club, Danil “gpk” Skutin and Egor “epileptick1d” Grigorenko, are from the CIS.

Karl spent much of the season as the midlaner for Geek Fam, whom he helped ascend to the top of the Southeast Asian scene in July by winning the ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League. However, Geek Fam quickly plummeted back to earth after Marc Polo Luis “Raven” Fausto left the team for regional rivals Fnatic shortly after their victory in the SEA League.

With the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) still suspended by the coronavirus pandemic until next year, Geek Fam was forced to disband in September with Karl moving to Execration not long after.

Roughly a month after joining Execration, Karl departed to join 032 alongside Ravdan “Hustla” Narmandakh.

032 are looking like the next big (mostly) Filipino team, with a highly-talented support player in Hustla and an 11K MMR club member in Karl joining a core of veteran Filipino players in John Anthony “Natsumi-” Vargas, Jun “Bok” Kanehara, and Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross Jr.
