Riot Games has officially announced the schedule, regional slot distribution, and format for VCT Masters Tokyo.

The second international LAN event of the VCT 2023 season will take place from June 11 to 25, with 12 of the best teams from the Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China regions competing in a double elimination bracket.

Qualifying for Masters this time around is more direct compared to last year. 

All 30 partnered teams will compete for a spot at Masters Tokyo when the international leagues kick off with the regular season at the end of March, followed by the playoffs.

The top three teams from Americas, EMEA, and Pacific will quality for the tournament, while China will field two teams. However, Riot Games has yet to reveal how these Chinese teams will qualify.

The winner of VCT LOCK//IN will earn their region an additional slot for Masters Tokyo.

Teams that make it to Tokyo will compete for VCT circuit points, which they will go towards qualifying for Valorant Champions 2023 at the end of the season.
