Bear witness to thrilling matches when the six best teams collide in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Indonesia Season 12 playoffs (MPL ID Season 12 playoffs).

The stakes don’t get higher — the champion and runner-up will take the region’s slots in the upcoming M5 World Championship set to be held in the Philippines later this year. Also on the line is the lion’s share of the US$336,500 prize pool.

After eight weeks of regular season action, MLBB Southeast Asia Cup 2023 champion ONIC Esports finished on top of the nine-team standings. The Yellow Hedgehogs will look to win their third straight title in the league.

However, they will face tough competition against fellow ONE Esports MPL Invitational 2023 participants RRQ, Geek Fam, Bigetron Alpha, Rebellion Zion, and Dewa United Esports.

Meanwhile, last season’s runner-up EVOS Legends and third-placer Alter Ego, as well as AURA Fire, failed to qualify for the playoffs.

Similar to past seasons, the playoffs will adopt a hybrid elimination format.

The third to sixth teams will battle in the single-elimination first round, with the two winners advancing to the next round, which has a double-elimination format.

The top two squads from the regular season, ONIC Esports and RRQ, will start in the upper bracket semifinals.

All matches are best-of-five, except for the grand final, which is a best-of-seven series.
