The best Indonesian teams will battle it out in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Indonesia Season 12 (MPL ID Season 12).

Two-time reigning champions and MLBB Southeast Asia Cup 2023 winners ONIC Esports are definitely looking to defend their throne against perennial contenders EVOS Legends and Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ).

The teams will fight for the two coveted slots in the M5 World Championship, set to be held in the Philippines later this year.

Here’s everything you need to know about the tournament, including its schedule, format, and where to watch the games.

The MPL ID Season 12 is the official Mobile Legends league in Indonesia organized by Moonton.

The tournament consists of two stages — the regular season and the playoffs. Nine teams will battle it out against each other for eight weeks in the regular season.

After that, the top six teams will advance to the playoffs, and compete to qualify for M5 and win the lion’s share of the US$336,500 prize pool.

Nine teams will battle in a best-of-three, double round robin format.

The third to sixth place teams begin their playoffs run in the lower bracket where they’ll only get one chance to fight for tournament lives.

The first and second place squads are seeded into the second round, which adopts a double elimination format, so they have two chances before bowing out.

All playoff matches are best-of-five, except for the grand finals, which will be a best-of-seven series.
