The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2023 (MSC 2023) marks the first MLBB tournament hosted by Moonton this year.

From June 10 to 18, twelve teams will gather in Cambodia to battle and determine who’s on top. This year’s MSC is special, introducing three new regions outside of Southeast Asia for the first time since the tournament’s inception in 2017.

The three-time MPL champions are bringing in fresh talent for the upcoming MSC tournament. Lee “Owl” Gonzales, Kenneth “Yue” Tadeo, and Renejay “RENEJAY” Barcase will make their MSC debut in the gold lane, midlane, and EXP lane, respectively.

Leading the team are the experienced duo of Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario, along with the skilled EXP laner Edward “EDWARD” Dapadap.

The team is led by seasoned veterans such as Kosal “ATM” Piseth, Sour “Celichma” Mara, and Sok “C Cat” Roth, who have numerous international MLBB tournament experiences under their belt.

Joining them is Pich “WayOfTheShadow” Sopheak, a standout player who made a name for himself as the only player to achieve a Savage during MSC 2021. Adding further strength to the team is Filipino import Mariusz “Donut” Tan.

After defeating M4 representative Falcon Esports and surpassing the favored AI Esports in the grand final of the MSC qualifier, Fenix Esports secured the sole Myanmar slot for MSC 2023.

This achievement is particularly remarkable considering that none of the players on the team have previously participated in an international tournament.
