The best Modern Warfare 2 ranked loadouts you can use in Season 2

In a recent video from Call of Duty guru TheXclusiveAce on YouTube, he goes over the best Modern Warfare 2 ranked loadouts for the TAQ-56, Vaznev 9k, and the new ISO Hemlock.

Unfortunately, it was revealed today that the TAQ-V, not to be confused with the TAQ-56, and ISO Hemlock has been banned from Ranked Play due to just how dominant they were so we’ll skip over that weapon in this article and focus on what you can still use.

The Vaznev is still the most dominant SMG in Modern Warfare 2 ranked

For the list of best Modern Warfare 2 ranked loadouts, XclusiveAce starts with the Vaznev which he deems as the best SMG available to use in Ranked Play.

For those who want a bit of variety, he provides a total of three builds for the weapon based on your playstyle, but really only suggests two of them.

Vaznev 9K Aggression Modern Warfare 2 ranked loadout

Just so you’re not confused, three of the attachments remain the same through each build. The first loadout which he calls “aggression” only uses the main three.

With this build, he provides the stats on a few factors that may influence your decision.

• ADS speed: 204ms
• Sprintout time: 94ms/179ms
• Sprint speed: 6.10m/s
• ADS move speed: 3.59m/s

Vaznev 9K Versatility Modern Warfare 2 ranked loadout

For his second loadout, he adds the Bruen Cubic Comp attachment for the muzzle. He says this is “so that you can actually challenge people at mid to longer rangers because the recoil is now manageable.”

He dubs this one the “versatility” build thanks to its ability to take a variety of engagements.

The stats for the versatility build only change in terms of ADS speed which is given up for a longer range.

The TAQ-56 is great for long-range engagements

Next up he covered the TAQ-56 as part of his list of the best Modern Warfare 2 ranked loadouts and once again elected to provide some options with different loadouts.

That’s not where the similarities stop though, as he once again provides three must-have attachments that will remain the same throughout.

TAQ-56 Accuracy Modern Warfare 2 ranked loadout

The first build titled “accuracy” includes the FTAC Castle Comp muzzle and the TV Cardinal stock to help with recoil control.

The overall stats for the accuracy build as provided in the video are as follows.

• Sprintout time: 179ms/264ms
• Sprint speed: 5.98m/s
• ADS move speed: 2.77m/s

TAQ-56 Versatility Modern Warfare 2 ranked loadout

The versatility ranked loadout for the TAQ-56 changes out the muzzle attachment. This gives you a little more wiggle room in terms of fights you can take.

The versatility loadout for the TAQ-56 drops your ADS speed, however, it will come at the cost of adding a little bit of horizontal kick.
