The North American region is about to begin the second phase of its regional circuit with the VCT NA Stage 2 Challengers Main Event.

The top 12 teams from NA are set to compete for eight playoff spots, which will put them one step closer to the second international LAN showdown of the year at Stage 2 Masters.

Masters Reykjavik 2022 champions OpTic Gaming and VCT NA Stage 1 Challengers winners The Guard, together with Cloud9 and XSET will finally return to competition. These teams secured direct spots in the Main Event for their top-four placing in Stage 1.

They will be joined by the top eight teams from the VCT NA Stage 2 Challengers qualifiers.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Main Event, including the complete schedule, teams, results, and where to watch the action unfold.

The VCT NA Stage 2 Challengers Main Event (also known as the group stage) is the second VCT regional tournament of the 2022 season for North America. It consists of three phases: two open qualifiers, the group stage, and the playoffs stage.

The Main Event will determine which eight teams make it to the playoffs, where they will then battle for a spot at the second Valorant Masters event of the year and earn VCT circuit points to qualify for Valorant Champions.

As in the Stage 1 NA Challengers event, the top two teams from the playoffs will go on to represent North America at Stage 2 Masters in July.
