Updated on August 14, 7:10 a.m. (GMT+8): Updated score.

The Valorant world championship officially begins with the Valorant Champions 2023 group stage.

16 of the world’s best Valorant teams will compete in Los Angeles, California, from August 6 to 26.

Instead of having the top-seeded teams advance straight to the playoffs, all qualified teams in the tournament will begin their run in the group stage.

The group stage seedings for Pacific, Americas, and EMEA teams were determined by their performances in the VCT international leagues and their standings at Masters Tokyo. The LCQ teams will represent the lower regional seeds.

All four groups will play in a double-elimination format, where all matches played are best of three. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.
