Pro player Hoa “Anakin” Luu, a well-known Jack user, revealed which character he thinks is the most powerful in the current roster.
After the Tekken 8 Closed Network Test (CNT) ended, the North American champion stated that Claudio Serafino feels ridiculously powerful in the latest Tekken installment in a tweet,, and that the Italian exorcist is giving him “main character strength vibes.”
The Tekken pro also made a comment on Claudio’s insane damage output and making him an “early candidate for best character” among the Closed Network Test roster.
Anakin does 167 damage combo with Claudio in Tekken 8 CNT
The Red Bull pro Tekken player also included a video on his tweet wherein he did an insane 167-damage combo with Claudio in Sanctum.
In the video, he first activated Heat (2+3~b,b), then started the combo with a counter hit Invidia (f,f+4). This gave him enough frames to connect an Aurora Pactum (4,2) that caused a wall splat. He then unleashed an Ira (f,f,f+2) to break the wall, followed by another Ira into Heat Dash for an extended wall carry. He carried the opponent’s body towards the wall with an Invidia, a Crescent Knee (b+3), and a Pollux (u/f+3+4). Claudio flipped his opponent against the wall with two Spinning Skies (b+2) and ended the combo with an Avaritia (b+4,3,2).

Tekken 8 CNT looks excellent and has received a lot of positive feedback from players. But of course, some parts of the game are not final yet and are subject to adjustment. One thing is for sure, players are excited to see its final form once it’s officially released in a few months.
