Bandai Namco has issued a warning to players, urging them not to continue playing the Tekken 8 cracked beta, which was copied from the Closed Network Test.

Over the past weekend, the latest Tekken 8 Closed Network Test was available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC. This allowed players to try out the upcoming fighting game before its official release, as well as its cross-platform and rollback feature.

According to reports, the closed network test was hacked, and a Tekken 8 cracked beta version is already in circulation, allowing users to extend their play after the Closed Network Test ended. This news reached Bandai Namco and they have issued a warning to players who downloaded the pirated version.

Bandai Namco took to Twitter to emphasize that such actions violate their terms of service and the Tekken World Tour code of conduct. They emphasized that unauthorized downloads or distribution of the game is “illegal,” and threatened to ban anyone caught playing the CNT from participating in the Tekken World Tour and other official tournaments.

Bandai Namco stressed the importance of fairness and competitive integrity in their competitions, expressing gratitude for players’ cooperation in preserving these values.

The main concern is that some players may gain an unfair advantage by continuously playing the training mode with the Tekken 8 cracked beta. The same thing happened during the Street Fighter 6 Closed Network Test, where players found ways to continue playing the game even after the duration of the test has ended.

Bandai Namco has urged players to respect their terms of service and avoid playing the Tekken 8 cracked beta beyond the designated period.
