The North American representatives have proven that they have what it takes to be on top.

BTK have successfully secured an upper bracket slot at the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M3 World Championship, all thanks to Michael “MobaZane” Gosun’s spectacular Balmond gameplay against MPL Cambodia’s SeeYouSoon.

BTK opened their campaign with a convincing win against CIS representatives Navi. However, they faltered against back-to-back MPL SG champions EVOS SG.

The situation placed them in a tight spot, for they needed one final win against MPL Cambodia’s champion SeeYouSoon in the last game of Group C to secure the upper bracket.

In this very last match, SeeYouSoon did their homework and banned the comfort picks of MobaZane, such as Yi Sun-Shin and Roger. However, BTK came prepared, and locked in Balmond for their final pick.

It turned out to be a success, and BTK managed to fend off the Cambodian squad in just under 12 minutes. They also had an astounding kill score of 20 compared to SeeYouSoon, who only had seven kills in the whole game.

MobaZane proved everyone that he is a top-caliber jungle in the tournament, winning the series with MVP honors after showing up big on Balmond, holding a 8/1/6 KDA.

With the win, North America will have its first upper bracket representative ever in Mobile Legends’ world championship.

The final leg of the group stage will happen today, December 9. Catch it live on Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s official Facebook page and YouTube channel.
