Reigning MLBB M1 World Champions, EVOS Legends, will compete at the ONE Esports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Invitational.

One of Indonesia’s most successful esports organizations, EVOS had an incredible 2019, winning MPL ID Season 4 and capping off the year by winning the inaugural MLBB M1 World Championship, defeating rivals, RRQ Hoshi, in a nailbiting 4-3 grand final.

This year, despite losing star players Yurino “Donkey” Putra and Eko “Oura” Julianto to retirement, and fielding three MPL rookies on the roster, EVOS overachieved in MPL ID Season 5, making it all the way to the grand final for another showdown against RRQ. In the grand final, they fell just short of repeating as champions, narrowly losing in a deciding fifth game.

EVOS Legends are the first invited team to be announced for the ONE Esports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Invitational.

Five other top teams from all over the world will be announced in the coming weeks, and will be joined by six qualifier teams, who have fought through the online country qualifiers to secure their spot at the Invitational:
