Young blood or experienced players — who will raise the iconic Summoner’s Cup trophy at Worlds 2022?

Riot Games has begun announcing the teams competing at League of Legends World Championship, which kicks off on September 29 at Arena Esports Stadium in Mexico, Mexico City.

After two years of missing out on international tournaments, the Vietnam region is finally back on the Worlds stage with two representatives from the VCS 2022 Summer season.

The League of Legends Continental League (LCL) will not attend Worlds due to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war which resulted in the cancelation of the regular season. Riot Games has given the CIS region’s slot to the European region.
