Updated on November 28, 3:08 p.m. (GMT+8): Added new bee skins Beezcrank, King Beegar, and Bee’Koz.
Spring has arrived on the Summoner’s Rift, but instead of blooming flowers and colorful butterflies, our favorite champions have channeled their inner bee forms!
From a cat guised as a honey-producing insect to a beekeeper, here are the nine best League of Legends bee skins.
Ranking every bee skin in League of Legends
12. Beekeeper Singed
7. King Beegar
6. Nunu & Beelump
12. Beekeeper Singed
Singed has given up life as a chemist and is now harvesting the finest honey in all of Runeterra as a beekeeper! The Beekeeper Singed skin reimagines the Mad Chemist as a bee farmer, carrying a hive behind his back and a gigantic piece of honeycomb as a shield.
We find his recall animation quite disturbing though because as soon as he takes off his beekeeper hat, an actual bee comes out and flies off, leaving Singed’s beekeeper suit on the ground, like a snake shedding its skin.
The Prophet of the Void in a bee-themed skin? Who would have thought?
Beezahar actually looks inspired by Marvel’s Wasp, only more fluttery and spring-ready with his small pair of purple wings. His Voidlings now take the form of ridiculously huge bee-looking creatures who crawl instead of flying in the air.
One thing that’s quite unsettling in this skin is Beezahar’s Void Shift shield, which could definitely be a trigger for anyone with trypophobia.
Want to see the Summoners Rift get covered by a swarm of hardworking bee turrets? Leave it to the Heimerstinger bee skin!
The revered professor wears an adorable bee headgear in his Heimerstinger form. Adopting a bold yellow color and delightful bee bots, this is easily the cutest out of all of Heimerdinger’s existing skins.
Why settle for only bees, when you can have an entire flower field?
The BZZZiggs bee skin transforms Ziggs’ Hexplosive Minefield into a blossoming garden pollinated by bees. His ultimate ability, Mega Inferno Bomb, hurls a massive beehive at unsuspecting enemies and covers them in a puddle of sticky honey.
The bomber champion himself gets a makeover in this bee skin, adorning a fuzzy yellow ‘do and cute little antennae.
Orianna is looking like a gorgeous bee fairy in this skin, complete with a petal skirt, neckpiece, and tiny bee wings.
Her ball serves as a motorhome for her bee familiar, as seen in the Orbeeana skin splash art and recall animation. This reminds us a lot of The Mandalorian’s Baby Yoda and their hover pod.
In this skin, Orianna’s Command: Protect ability encases the champion and her allies in a golden honey shield with her bee companion hovering around.
7. King Beegar
Meet King Beegar, the perfect blend of evil and cuteness!
This yordle sorcerer has taken charge in the bee kingdom, spearheading the Bee-sistance against the formidable Queen Bee.
This skin has stunning effects, especially noticeable in Veigar’s E ability. Watch as he conjures a delightful batch of fresh pink flowers onto the battlefield, adding a touch of whimsy.
6. Nunu & Beelump
What’s big, fluffy, and rolls a giant honey ball? Why, it’s Beelump!
The menacing yeti Willump and his best friend Nunu look like they’re genuinely having the time of their lives in this new bee skin.
He wears a petite bee hoodie to match Willump’s humongous bee-stly form. And instead of rolling a giant snowball, the yeti is now lugging around a gigantic, translucent honey ball with a bee stuck inside it.
Our favorite part of this skin is its recall animation, where the two joyfully lay down in a bed of daisies.
No words, just vibes — err, hives?
Forget the stinky Kog’Maw that you knew — Bee’Maw is as fresh as he can get! Bee’Maw transforms into a cute insect with bulky antennae and a hexagon print in between its eyes.
His Void Ooze creates a path of juicy honey which deals some sweet damage against enemies. Bee’Maw’s ultimate ability, Living Artillery, sprouts a faint, pink flower to the ground and summons a raging bee. Like a missile, the bee lands on the flower and explodes into a puddle of honey.
In Blitzcrank’s Beezcrank skin, a small bee controls his metal frame, creating a sticky situation for opponents.
Notably, his intimidating metallic arm transforms into a massive honey dipper. When grabbing a champion, he utilizes the honey’s stickiness to pull them closer.
Have you ever seen a cat cosplaying as a bee? Yuumi might be the first! Yuumi (or Yuubee) looks so adorable in her bee outfit with a pink flower on top of her head and a striped tail with a beehive at the end. Her Book of Thresholds shows a huge daisy pressed in between its pages.
Aside from her second ability effect which encapsulates an ally in a glowing ball of honey, we love Yuubee’s ultimate ability, Final Chapter, because of the different spring patterns it shows on its waves — first beehive hexagon tiles, then a cute illustration of a bee, followed by tiny flowers, then a single daisy, the fifth wave shows an illustration of what seems to be a bee harvesting honey, the sixth features Yuumi’s face, and the final wave becomes a pattern of wings.
Ever seen a bee with tentacles? It’s possible with Bee’Koz!
In this unique skin, Vel’Koz takes on the form of a bee, seamlessly controlling the Void-spawn’s body to unleash powerful, sticky beams upon unsuspecting enemies.
Despite the seemingly unconventional concept, Riot Games’ design team skillfully brought it to life, making Bee’Koz a standout bee-themed skin in the lineup.
It also makes us laugh, which is definitely a plus.
Nothing beats the cuteness that Teemo gives off in a bee costume, with his huge furry head and tiny gloved hands.
Beemo is the epitome of the spring season, buzzing around enemies and throwing his shroom hives that burst into fresh, sticky honey. Looks sweet, but it’s just as deadly as Teemo’s regular shrooms.
Beemo’s recall animation is also a delight to watch as coneflowers suddenly sprout to the ground, complementing Beemo’s overall appearance.
