Team SMG’s Dota 2 roster has been on a tear in the DPC 2021: Season 2 – Southeast Asia Lower Division.

Team SMG started their DPC 2021: Season 2 – Southeast Asia Lower Division campaign with two impressive wins against Galaxy Racer and Team Mystery.

The team then suffered their first loss of to Motivate.Trust Gaming at the end of Week 2, which was the last match Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung played with Team SMG.



Team SMG is 2-0 with Roddgeee

During Week 3, the team brought in Malaysian veteran Dota 2 player Roger “Roddgeee” Tan to replace Mushi. Team SMG then returned to their winning ways, defeating 496 Gaming and Cignal Ultra.

After their 2-0 win over Cignal Ultra, Team SMG’s 19-year-old midlaner, Muhammad Ammar “Neah666” Rasulli revealed in the post-match interview that Mushi is no longer an active player on their team.

According to Neah666, “[It was a] roster change [decision], between MidOne and Mushi.”

Team SMG is currently in second place with a 4-1 match record, right behind Motivate.Trust Gaming in the DPC 2021: Season 2 – Southeast Asia Lower Division standings.

The team has two matches left to play. First, they’re up against Filipino squad South Built Esports on May 13 (Thursday) at 3 p.m. GMT+8. They will then finish the season against Indonesian team Army Geniuses on May 15 (Saturday) at 12:00 p.m. GMT+8.
