Navi announced that its Dota 2 roster will be inactive moving forward, citing the team’s inability to qualify to The International 10 as the main reason for this move.

The squad’s last performance at the International 2019 was disappointing. The organization finished in last place, and hasn’t fared much better this year either, plagued by roster shuffles and mediocre results.

The organization intends to take a new approach in the future.

“After the unsatisfying performance in The International 10 qualifiers, the Navi esports club transferred the Dota 2 roster to inactive,” said Kucherov. “We have also decided to change our approach towards the discipline as a whole, and invited a person to take over this initiative for Navi.”

The top CIS organization also released a video explaining their decision and what their plans are moving forward.
