Updated on December 19, 12:27 a.m. (GMT+8): Added more photos of Lujiuerhei’s Wanderer cosplay.

A new name, a new look, a new life — let’s welcome the Wanderer to Teyvat.

Previously known as Scaramouche, the Wanderer played a crucial role in the later half of the Sumeru Archon quests.

Warning: Major spoilers if you haven’t played Chapter III: Truth Amongst the Pages of Purana, Act III: Dreams, Emptiness, Deception.

In the third part of the Archon Quest, travelers witnessed how Scaramouche was turned into an artificial god by the Sumeru Akademiya’s Six Darshans.

Players also learned about the Fatui Harbinger’s tragic past, filled with abandonment and betrayal from his relationship with Raiden Ei, to his life in Tatarasuna.

After adapting to his new life following the events of the third Archon quest, Scaramouche underwent major changes in his clothing, element, and name in Genshin Impact version 3.3. The balladeer is now called the Wanderer and wields the power of the Anemo element after he acquired a new vision.

Lujiuerhei’s Wanderer cosplay will make you bow your head in awe

Lujiuerhei, known for portraying numerous Genshin Impact characters, debuted their Wanderer cosplay on social media.

The Chinese cosplayer wore the 5-star character’s new outfit in teal, blue, and indigo — colors that match his new element. You can even spot his Anemo vision dangling from their left shoulder.

The cosplayer’s selfies show the Wanderer’s playful side, with Lujiuerhei sticking their tongue out, similar to the idle animation of the character which was revealed during the version 3.3 special program.

Prior to the Wanderer, Lujiuerhei had also cosplayed Scaramouche.

Lujiuerhei has impressed the Genshin Impact community with their insanely accurate cosplays. They have portrayed a myriad of 4-stars and 5-stars, including Shikanoin Heizou, Tighnari, Xingqiu, and Chongyun.

Fans can check out their other cosplays on Instagram (@lujiuerhei) and Weibo (@陆鹫贰黑).
