The official Oshi no Ko season 2 anime release date is out!

This next installment continues the narrative following Japanese idol Ai Hoshino and her children, Aqua Hoshino and Ruby Hoshino.

This announcement came during a special stage event at the AnimeJapan 2024 convention, held at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan.

Led by Japanese voice actors Megumi Han (Arima Kana), Takeo Ootsuka (Aqua), and Manaka Iwami (Akane Kurokawa), the event provided fans with insights into what they can expect from the upcoming season.

Oshi no Ko season 2 anime release date revealed, airs in Summer 2024

Oshi no Ko season 2 premieres in July 2024.

Accompanying the announcement of the Oshi no Ko season 2 anime release date was a teaser video, showcasing the anime’s characters adorned in costumes for their stage play titled Tokyo Blade, which centers around the Shibuya Conflict arc.

In this stage play, Kana portrays the supporting character Tsurugi, while Akane takes on the role of the main antagonist, Sayahime, and Aqua portrays the antagonist Touki.

In addition to the video teaser, Doga Kobo released a key visual showing all the characters in a rehearsal for the play.

Season 2 promises the introduction of new characters and voice actors. Fans can look forward to Koki Uchiyama’s portrayal of Taiki Himekawa and Yusuke Kobayashi’s performance as Sakuya Kamoshida.
