Following the thrilling conclusion of Season 3’s 70-minute finale, Japanese animation studio ufotable revealed that the anime will continue with the Demon Slayer Hashira Training arc.
Here is everything we gathered from the teaser trailer that was released with the announcement of the fourth season of Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba).
What can fans expect from the Demon Slayer Hashira Training arc anime?
Demon Slayer released a teaser trailer revealing the main characters for Season 4.
All Hashira members, except for the Flame Pillar Kyojuro Rengoku, were shown in the teaser.
In the upcoming season, fans will witness Stone Pillar Gyomei Himejima, Wind Pillar Sanemi Shinazugawa, and Serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro in action.
Also included in the teaser are Season 1 characters Water Pillar Giyu Tomioka and Insect Pillar Shinobu Kocho. Completing the Hashira group are Mist Pillar Muichiro Tokito and Love Pillar Mitsuri Kanroji from Season 3.
The art in the Season 4 teaser was created by character designer and chief animation designer Akira Matsushima. He is the same artist who designed Demon Slayer’s previous seasons and the Demon Slayer Mugen Train movie.
The Hashira Training arc is the tenth story arc of Demon Slayer, and the upcoming season will adapt the events from Chapters 128 to 136 of the manga.
Ufotable has yet to confirm a release date for Season 4. Demon Slayer could return in Spring 2024, but it’s more likely for the Hashira Training arc to premiere in Fall 2024.
