Since the League of Legends: Wild Rift Beta was released in Southeast Asia in September last year, League of Legends PC players and mobile game enthusiasts have united on the Rift.

Ranked was unlocked since day one, and many players have been persistent in grinding upwards. Alongside in-game challenges, players were also able to test their skills in local Wild Rift tournaments that continue to pop up across the region.

If you’re a highly competitive player who is hungry to become pro, now is your chance. Team Secret will be holding a tryout for their Wild Rift team on January 23 and 24, which currently only has one player signed.

You would need to have achieved a rank of Diamond I during Season 0, or at least Diamond II in Season 1, can speak good English, reside in Southeast Asia, and be at least 16 years old. Should you meet these requirements, you can send in your application directly to Team Secret here by January 16.

The Team Secret Wild Rift Scouting Grounds will officially start on January 22. Here is the timeline of events:

  • 16 to 19 January – Registration
  • 22 January – Group Stage (off stream)
  • 23 January – Quarterfinals (streamed on Team Secret’s Facebook and YouTube channel)
  • 24 January – Semifinals and Grand Final (streamed on Team Secret’s Facebook and YouTube channel)

The tournament organizer will contact chosen participants prior to inform them of the rules and confirm the team rosters.

So what are you waiting for? If you have skills that stand out during the tournament, who knows, you might get picked up by the org!
