Bilibili Gaming and Edward Gaming, and FunPlus Phoenix are the three Chinese teams to secure their spot for Valorant Champions 2023, the final global event of the year that will run from August 6 to 26.

These three teams emerged as the VCT China qualifier 2023 winners when they secured a top 3 finish in the tournament by making it to the upper bracket final and the lower bracket final.

The top three Chinese teams will advance and compete against the top teams from the Pacific, Americas, and EMEA leagues.

EDG and BLG were the top two teams in the tournament, winning their upper bracket quarterfinals and upper bracket semifinals without dropping a single map.

BLG defeated Monarch Effect 2-0, followed by a clean 3-0 sweep of Trance Esports to make it to the upper bracket final. EDG beat Team Weibo 2-0, and TYLOO 3-0.

Zheng “ZmjjKK” Yongkang was unstoppable in EDG’s match against TYLOO, with the duelist main having an average ACS of 357 in all three map wins.

BLG will make their international Valorant debut in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, EDG will be competing in their fifth international Valorant LAN event.

EDG made an impressive run at Masters Tokyo, defeating Valorant Champions 2022 winners LOUD 2-0 in the lower bracket, finishing 5th-6th in Japan.

FunPlus Phoenix was the final team to make it to Valorant Champions 2023 through the VCT China Qualifier. They defeated TYLOO 3-1 in the lower bracket semifinal and secured a top 3 finish in the tournament.

Valorant Champions 2023 will take place in Los Angeles, California. The group and knockout stages will take place at Shrine Auditorium. The finals weekend will take place at the Kia Forum.
