RRQ Hoshi has suffered another setback to their roster as hypercarry, Albertttt, has confirmed that he will take a break from competitive play to finish his school exams. Alberttt will be the third RRQ player to take a break this season following Lemon and Xinnn.

The RRQ hypercarry announced his hiatus on stream, saying that the academic situation calls for his full attention.

“I’m definitely not playing this week since I have an exam from March 22 to 27,” said Alberttt. “Even with the RRQ match against Bigetron Alpha on the 27th, I still can’t attend because the exam has to be on camera with me wearing a white shirt.”

Even though the exam period is a mere five days, Alberttt expressed that he still needs to study and prepare, leaving no time for practice or even playing. With the player focused on acing the important test for his graduation, he’s unsure of who will take his place in the current line-up.

“Regarding who is playing who, I don’t know, but for sure I am not playing,” confirmed Alberttt.

From the looks of it, Albertt will miss three MPL games: Aurafire in Week 4 and Bigetron Alpha and ONIC Esports in Week 5.

With Albert out for two weeks, the King of Kings might turn to promoted MDL player Skylar to fill in as hypercarry while Wizz or Taka could possibly enter as the squad’s sidelaners.

RRQ Hoshi will face Aurafire on March 20.
