Aspiring Mobile Legends: Bang Bang pro players in the Middle East and North Africa, this announcement will excite you.

Moonton has just announced that Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Middle East and North Africa (MPL MENA) will start this year. This is the second official MPL league outside of Southeast Asia after MPL Brazil.

Official announcement about MPL MENA

The news first broke out in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Arabia’s official YouTube page.

According to the video, MPL Mena will have two splits each year, the Spring Split and Fall Split.

The former will start this November and run all the way till April 2022, while the latter will take place from September to November 2022. MPL MENA will also be organizing a university esports league from May to August 2022.

The top 10 teams from Middle East and North Africa will receive a share of the US$200,000 prize pool.

This announcement comes after the conclusion of the M3 Arabia Major, where team Akatsuki won the tournament, booking their slot at the M3 World Championship in December.

Moonton’s massive Mobile Legends esports expansion around the world

The league is part of a series of expansions Moonton has carried out to open up Mobile Legends: Bang Bang to a wider range of audience outside Southeast Asia.

They established leagues in Brazil and Cambodia this year, with Brazil being the first country to have its very own MPL outside Asia.

Moonton is currently exploring the possibility of MPL North America after a successful North American Qualifier run.
