Mobile Legends: Bang Bang patch 1.6.34 introduced a ton of new things to the Land of Dawn such as skins and exciting events such as the M3 pass.

But what made this patch more exciting is the new mage hero, Valentina. The Prophetess of the Night is not your typical mage hero, as she has the ability to copy any ultimate and transform to any hero she’s facing off against.

Let’s take a closer look on Mobile Legends newest hero and see just how strong she is in the current meta.

New Mobile Legends hero, Valentina, skills rundown

Before talking about Valentina’s strength, let’s take a look at all her skills.

Passive – Primal Force

She gains 30 EXP each time she deals damage to an enemy hero.

If the enemy hero’s level isn’t higher than her, 60% of the damage dealt will be converted into her HP.

Skill 1 – Shadow Strike

Valentina launches a Shadow Strike on a fan-shaped area ahead, dealing Magic Damage to enemies hit and slowing them by 40% for one second.

Also applies a Shadow Sigil that lasts 4s to enemy heroes hit. Marked enemies that are hit by Shadow Strike again will be terrified for 0.7s.

Skill 2 – Arcane Shade

Valentina fires 3 Shadow Bolts to the nearest enemy (prioritizes enemy hero) and dashes foward, each Shadow Bolts deal Magic Damage.

She can cast this skill again within 6s.

Ultimate – I Am You

She siphons the power of a designated enemy hero and slows them by 70% for 0.5s. The siphoned power allows her to cast the enemy’s Ultimate within the next 20s.

After casting the enemy’s Ultimate, Valentina will turn into the enemy hero’s form and inherit their Basic Attack type (regular skills remain unchanged, unless the enemy’s ultimate has Morph effect). She can choose to turn back to her original form early.

This skill has no effect on enemy Valentina. The stolen Ultimate’s level is determined by Valentina’s own Ultimate. If the enemy hero is a Physical Damage hero, Valentina will gain Physical Attack within the duration.

Analysis of Valentina’s strength in Mobile Legends patch 1.6.34

If there’s one skill worth highlighting, it’s her ultimate, I Am You. It gives an advantage to any team she’s on, especially if the enemy team has a lot of initiation skills that Valentina can siphon.

Her passive, Primal Force, requires the player to be aggressive all throughout the game so that you can fully utilize EXP gain if the enemy is behind, or extra lifesteal if the enemy is far ahead.

Valentina is a strong addition to any team based on these two abilities alone. She can quickly turn things around and create surprising plays once she siphons an initiation skill from the enemy with I Am You.

There’s still no official confirmation on whether she will be available for the upcoming M3 World Championship, but some pro teams have already incorporated the The Prophetess of the Night into their strategy.

Once she’s available in pro play, expect to see many teams priority pick her in the draft phase. She’s fun to play and exciting to watch, especially in the hands of a pro player.
