Former PH powerhouse Sunsparks has announced they are looking to form a new Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team a year after the organization went on hiatus.

In their Facebook post, they highlighted the requirements every aspirant should possess, including having reached Mythical Glory 2500 points/450+ stars, willing to stay in a boot camp, and openness to be part of a mixed-gendered team.

Sunsparks were once a dominant force in the MPL PH scene, claiming the first-back-to-back titles in the region in seasons four and five. They also went on to win local and international tournaments such as Mytel Invitational Championships.

Sunsparks is a client of Bren Esports in which they are tasked with managing the esports organization under their white label teams program.

According to Ralph Andrei “Leathergoods” Llabres, head coach of Bren Esports assigned with overseeing Sunsparks, the organization wants to revive the team and at the same time incorporate a mix of male and female players in their roster.

“Right now we are in the process of making a team that will break boundaries. A team that’s not all-male or all-female.” Llabres told One Esports.

Leathergoods also mentioned that aside from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Sunsparks also have plans on venturing to Valorant and League of Legends: Wild Rift in the future.

“the new Sunsparks will be rebranded as well. Their uniforms, designs, and almost everything.” he added.
