The team’s star player, Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, has become a fan favorite over the years, earning support from various Korean idols and celebrities, including Super Junior’s Heechul, Daniel Kang, Zion. T, and EXO’s Baekhyun.

Referred to by fans as the “K-pop buff,” T1 has forged a special connection with the K-pop industry, as several popular groups and idols have expressed support for the team. Among them are Raiden, Baeukhyun, CHANGMO, and THE BOYZ, who have all performed theme songs for T1’s most important tournaments.

Fans have spotted another Korean idol wearing T1’s iconic uniform jacket, further cementing the team’s popularity within the K-pop community.

K-pop buff acquired! Nmixx Haewon wears T1’s uniform jacket

During one of Nmixx’s fan meet, the group’s leader and vocalist, Haewon, was seen wearing T1 Faker’s jacket, handed to her by one of her supporters.

Fans asked the K-pop idol to wear it and to pose with a long-stemmed rose, just like how T1 members did during the LCK Spring 2023 regular season.

She also performed the group’s single, “Young, Dumb, Stupid,” while wearing the jacket.

Haewon is one of the members of the all-girl group, Nmixx. She spent about four years training with JYP Entertainment before making her debut with the group in 2022.

Nicknamed Olaf by her fans, she is known for her playful and cheesy personality.
