HoYoverse has launched Genius Invokation TCG, Genshin Impact’s very own card game mode in version 3.3. Explore decks, exchange strategies, and receive free Primogems in Teyvat’s most popular collectible card game.
Here’s how you can fully enjoy Genshin TCG with your friends, family, and soon… enemies.
How to unlock Genius Invokation TCG co-op mode
To unlock the Genius Invokation co-op mode, you must finish the “Battlefield of Dice, Cats, and Cards” world quest. This quest will explain the basics of the game mode, as well as give players access to Cat’s Tail bar.
Note that in order to unlock the TCG world quest, you must reach Adventure Rank 32 and above and complete the Archon quest Prologue: The Outlander Who Caught the Wind, Act III: Song of the Dragon and Freedom.
Upon clearing the world quest, you will hit level 1 in Genius Invokation TCG, which unlocks co-op mode.
How to play with friends in Genius Invokation TCG
- Teleport to Cat’s Tail tavern in Mondstadt.
- Head to the invitation board near the counter, the one with the photo of two cats playing together.
- Select “Co-Op Match”.
- Pick “Invite Teammate” to send an invitation to any of the players on your friends list.
Upon reaching level 4, you will unlock matchmaking, which will allow you to play against a random traveler.
Note that there will be a time limit for performing actions in either co-op or matchmaking mode in each phase of the duel.
