Kirara is a 4-star Dendro character who wields a sword. She’s not just a fighter though, Kirara works as a dedicated courier for the famous Inazuma delivery company, Komaniya Express.
Despite being a Nekomata, a two-tailed cat youkai, Kirara is known for her cheerful personality and love for human society. Her dedication and positive attitude have even earned her a loyal following of satisfied customers.
How to get a free Kirara in Genshin Impact 4.8’s summer event
Players can recruit Kirara into their team for free by drawing for a certain number of figurines in Summertide Scales and Tales in Genshin Impact 4.8.
In order to draw figurines, you’ll need to accumulate enough Starsail Coins, the unique currency used in this event. Starsail Coins can be obtained by participating in the summer event’s mini games.
After meeting the criteria, you’ll unlock the invitation to recruit Kirara to your team.
What is Kirara’s Phantom in Boots?
Phantom in Boots is Kirara’s outfit that follows a phantom burglar theme.
Instead of her usual top and skirt attire, the Genshin character now wears a short corset dress with a matching wide brim fedora hat. Her over-the-knee laced-up boots complete the look.

How to get the Kirara skin Phantom in Boots for free
Travelers need to accumulate an item called “Excerpts of Bliss.” This item can only be obtained around Simulanka, the special summer map available in version 4.8.
To obtain “Excerpts of Bliss,” you need to collect another item called “Jubilant Feathers” and open chests around the summer map called “Fairytale Troves.”
Summertide Scales and Tales event mini-games
To obtain both Kirara and her skin, you need to participate in Summertide Scales and Tales’ mini-games:
- Boreal Flurry – Shoot balloons while enjoying a scenic aerial view of Simulanka
- Flying Hatter’s Trick – Capture moving toy figures in a claw machine-style game
- Metropole Trials – Assemble two character teams to overcome combat challenges.
By completing these mini-games, you’ll earn Starsail Coins to draw for figurines with different poses. These figurines can be displayed on “Good Shelves” found throughout Simulanka.
You can also obtain “Good Shelves” as furnishings by finishing all main Simulanka stories. These shelves can be placed in your Serenitea Pot as summer keepsakes.
