After delivering fans the enjoyable Dota anime series Dragon’s Blood, the Valve x Netflix partnership continues with yet another cinematic treat.
Valve’s new documentary “Free-to-Play” showcases the story of the very first The International (TI) tournament back in 2011, following the journey of Dota 2 legends Benedict “hyhy” Lim, Clinton “Fear” Loomis, and Danil “Dendi” Ishutin.
The documentary also dives into the early days of esports, way back before Dota 2 became a multi-million dollar tourney.
The movie runs for 1 hour and 15 minutes, so you better have your snacks ready!
Free-to-Play will be available on Netflix on Monday, April 19. You can find it on the app’s “Coming Soon” tab or you can just click here and hit “Remind Me” to get notified when it launches.
