Ukrainian organization Mind Games was disqualified from the ESL One Stockholm Major due to ongoing visa issues.

ESL called it a “difficult decision” to eliminate Mind Games from the tournament entirely.

The team was unable to make it to the Major on the first day, resulting in a forfeit to Thunder Awaken. Unfortunately, the org will have to continue to wait for their debut—their disqualification means they will be the only team eliminated from Group B, with all other teams receiving an automatic win.

The Stockholm Major would have been Mind Games’ first Major

Mind Game was set to play in their first Major after qualifying from the Dota Pro Circuit 2021/2022 Eastern Europe playoffs in the third place decider. However, their late qualification might have meant that they had less time to process their travel permits.

Even before the tournament started, the team had announced that two players, Danil “Bignum” Shekhovtsov and Semion “CemaTheSlayer” Krivulya were unable to make it.

Mind Games will finish the tournament in last place—which means they will not receive any prize money or DPC points.

Fans can watch the Major live on ESL ONE’s official Twitch stream from May 12 to 22.

During the group stages, two additional streams will be broadcasting. You can find Stream B and Stream C here.
