Evil Geniuses position 4 support player, Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen, has become the sixth player to join the exclusive 11,000 matchmaking rating (MMR) club.

Cr1t made his feat known on a post on his personal Twitter account, revealing that it took him a month and a half to grind towards the highest tier of player MMR.

Cr1t joined the 11K MMR club shortly after Zerothreetwo (032) midlaner Karl “Karl” Jayme became the fifth player to enter the exclusive club.

Aside from being the first European player to reach 11K MMR, Cr1t is also the first support player to do so. All of the other members of the 11K MMR club, namely; Karl, club founder Abed Azel “Abed” Yusop, Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon, Danil “gpk” Skutin, and Egor “epileptick1d” Grigorenko; are either carry players or midlaners.

With that said, it is worth noting that Cr1t started his career as a core player in a number of middling stacks before fully switching to the support role once he found success with OG back in 2015.

Cr1t and EG have not been particularly active as of late, with their last appearance being in the second season of the OMEGA League European Immortal Division last month, where they finished 5th-6th place.

With the restart of the Dota Pro Circuit early next year still far away, we can expect the 11K MMR club to continue expanding as more and more pro players are spending less time playing in official matches or in scrimmages, and more time climbing the MMR ladder in pubs.
