Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 262 release date is almost here, and with it comes the highly anticipated rematch between the series’ most powerful curse users.

Chapter 261 picks up with Itadori Yuji locked in a fierce battle against Ryomen Sukuna. Yuji landed a powerful blow to Sukuna’s heart, but the King of Curses retaliated by activating his Domain Expansion.
As Sukuna was about to deliver the final blow to Yuji, Satoru Gojo made a shocking return to the battlefield.
Sukuna was visibly surprised. He had killed Gojo by slicing him in half in chapter 263 during the Shinjuku Showdown arc, yet Gojo appeared perfectly healthy.
The King of Curses apologized to Yuta Okkotsu for taking him lightly, saying, “I didn’t think you were capable of doing that.”
The manga revealed that Jujutsu High, anticipating Gojo’s potential defeat, had devised a contingency plan. Despite facing opposition within the Jujutsu world, the plan involved Okkotsu using Kenjaku’s stolen cursed technique, which enabled him to control other bodies by transplanting his brain.
Okkotsu would then take control of Gojo’s body and continue the fight against Sukuna. Before facing Sukuna himself, Gojo readily agreed to the plan when Okkotsu explained it.
Jujutsu High’s medical team, led by Shoko Ieiri, focused on keeping Gojo’s body viable after his presumed defeat, and sustaining Okkotsu after his own loss to Sukuna.
With the Limitless cursed technique and Six Eyes at his disposal, Okkotsu, now inhabiting Gojo’s body, charged into battle.
Chapter 261 concluded with both Gojo (through Okkotsu) and Sukuna activating their respective Domain Expansions – Infinite Void and Malevolent Shrine.

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 262 release date
According to Shueisha’s official Manga Plus app, the next chapter of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga releases on Sunday, June 9, at 11 p.m. (JST) Japanese Standard Time.
